Our Idun - CBD + CBDa Moisturizer contains the full range of natural cannabinoids. Through a gentle CO₂ extraction process, the valuable cannabinoids and terpenes of the hemp plant (cannabis sativa) are preserved, thus resulting in a full spectrum of natural cannabinoids. The certified hemp plants are organically grown and therefore GMO-free, meaning they are free of chemical fertilizers and growth hormones.
In addition, they are gluten free and do not contain any artificial preservatives or dyes.
The Idun-CBD Moisturizer is vegan, meaning it does not contain any animal products.
In general, our CBD creams are made with high quality ingredients and encompass a wide spectrum of effective remedies against various skin diseases. It is anti-inflammatory, especially of the sebaceous glands, and is an effective antioxidant. CBD uses the body's own cannabinoid system that, among other things, regulates the renewal of skin cells. CBD counteracts skin redness and irritation, regulates sebum production, promotes wound healing and optimizes the skin's own biophysical protective film. To elaborate, the liposomal structure of Freyja greatly enables the active ingredients to effectively transfer deep into the skin cells.

Urea is an endogenous substance that softens corneal components and fights dandruff. It also promotes skin's natural healing, circulation and regulation.
Panthenol is also known as dexpanthenol or provitamin B5. It is an important component of coenzyme A and thus plays the central role in the metabolism and regeneration of skin cells. Panthenol has anti-inflammatory effects and therefore is used to treat wounds, relieve itching and retaining moisture.
Ceramide is both a water and a fatty molecule present in the uppermost layers of skin. With this function, it is significantly involved in the construction and moisturization of the hydrolipid film, the protective barrier of the skin.
Magnesium chloride is a natural constituent of sea salt and thus is found in salt lakes, like the Dead Sea. Have you ever noticed how seawater has such positive effects on the appearance of your skin? The transdermal absorption of magnesium chloride is significantly more efficient than the intake of many dietary supplements. When magnesium ions and water enter the sweat pores, the skin is obviously moisturized/hydrated and the body's level of magnesium increased, but this natural active ingredient also has a decompressive effect on the (skin) musculature.
Lactate / lactic acid is produced by the body and also serves to adjust the skin-neutral pH of about 5.5. This acid contributes to the body's natural protection against bacteria and pathogens. In addition, lactic acid, similar to the Urea, helps to moisture and soften the skin.
Potassium ascorbate is a salt of ascorbic acid and a derivative of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is needed primarily for collagen formation and is used as an antioxidant, protecting the skin against free radicals. Free radicals are aggressive molecules that are permanently formed both in the organism and in our environment, such as by UV radiation. They can cause unwanted bodily reactions such as signs of aging, i.e. wrinkling and irritation of the skin. So antioxidants, such as Vitamin C, effectively counteract these damaging processes.
L-arginine and L-serine are amino acids used in the production of many structural proteins of the skin. Arginine promotes skin's natural healing, circulation and regulation. Serine promotes binding of moisture both within and on the outtermost layers of skin.
Liposomes are small bulbble-like vesicles that are identical in structure to the cell membrane. As mentioned earlier, the liposomal structure of Idun greatly enables the active ingredients to effectively transfer deep into the skin cells, allowing optimal supply with water and fat containing components.
